NSW Business Grant deadline extended until Friday 1 October 2021

Eligible businesses that have not yet made a claim for the NSW COVID-19 Business Grant have until 11.59pm on Friday 1 October 2021 to make their application.

JobSaver applications can continue to be made through to 18 October 2021 and are backdated to the nominated two week period (on or after 18 July 2021) in which the business first experienced the decline in turnover.

The business will need to reconfirm (1) that it has continued to experience a decline in turnover of 30% or more; and (2) that it has maintained its employee headcount, to continue receiving payments. Employees who have been stood down under the Fair Work Act 2009 or who take leave without pay are considered employees in determining headcount. These employees may be eligible for disaster payments. Employers should take advice before standing down employees.

Applications for the Micro-business Grant, which is $1,500 per fortnight, can be made up to 18 October 2021.

The Prosperity team are on hand to assist you in making an application or to answer queries you may have in connection with existing applications.
